Tesla valet mode

Works for: Tesla S, 3, X, Y, Cybertruck

Set your car to valet mode in the Tesla app. Driver picks up using the app, drives to the charger (top speed locked at 70 mph, glovebox locked, no media access). Battery + odometer state logged at pickup and return.

Digital key share

Works for: Ford, GM, Hyundai/Kia, BMW Digital Key, Polestar, Rivian

In your manufacturer's app, generate a one-time digital key for the trip window. Driver pairs phone, picks up, drives, returns. Key auto-revokes after the trip. No physical key changes hands.

Simply lockbox

Works for: anything else (older EVs, Nissan Leaf, anything without digital handoff)

We mount a small Bluetooth lockbox near your parking spot at signup ($45 one-time, refunded if you cancel within 90 days). You put the key in the box before pickup. Driver opens via app, takes the key, returns it.

Common questions.

What if I don't have valet mode and don't want a lockbox?

In-person handoff is still an option — you meet the driver at pickup for 30 seconds, then they handle the rest. Less common because most customers prefer the no-show options.

Can I cancel a trip after the driver has my car?

Until pickup: free cancel. After pickup: we charge the pickup fee + actual kWh used. Drivers always return your car to the original location.

Does the lockbox damage my parking space?

No. It uses a sticky mount or a tie-strap to existing structure (railing, fence post, garage column). Removed without residue if you cancel.

What stops the driver from joyriding?

Geofenced route + speed cap (Tesla valet mode) or real-time GPS monitoring (other vehicles). Trip route is the optimal route from pickup → charger → return. Significant deviations flag immediately and the trip is auto-paused.

Who else has access to my car?

Only the assigned driver during the trip window. Driver identity is shown in your app with photo + license plate before pickup. Permission revokes automatically at trip end.
